DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A strong start wasn't enough for Lynn to keep pace with No. 18 Embry-Riddle, as the Fighting Knights dropped a tough road test, 73-60, on Saturday afternoon.
Lynn jumped out to an early seven-point lead behind seven points from
Trinity Mocadlo, but the Eagles closed the opening quarter on a strong run and carried the momentum into the second. Despite outscoring Embry-Riddle in the second half, the Blue and White couldn't overcome a decisive second-quarter surge by the home team.
Mocadlo continued her stellar season, leading Lynn with 19 points.
Lynn fell to 10-6 overall and 4-4 in Sunshine State Conference play, while Embry-Riddle improved to 11-2 overall and 6-1 in the SSC.

- Jean-Glaude and Wentworth combined for six straight points to cut the deficit to 15, 65-50
- A block by Jean-Glaude led to a pair of free throws from Mocadlo for Lynn's final points

- Mocadlo scored a team-high 19 points in 23 minutes, raising her season average to 16.6 points per game
- Jean-Glaude added 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting with five rebounds, one steal and one block in 18 minutes
- Wentworth reached double figures with 11 points for the 10th time in her last 12 games
- Deleon scored 11 points, her fifth consecutive game in double figures
- Baker recorded a season-high three steals in 11 minutes
- Mantilla made her third straight start and logged a career-high 33 minutes
- Lynn held advantages in steals (9-8) and blocks (2-0)
- The Fighting Knights have attempted at least 25 three-pointers in seven straight games and are on pace to make 218 threes this season (program record: 184)
