ORLANDO, Fla. – The Lynn University men's tennis team was selected sixth in the 2026 Sunshine State Conference Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league on Wednesday.
Barry was tabbed the preseason favorite, collecting seven first-place votes and 49 total points. The Buccaneers enter the spring as the nation's top-ranked Division II program and once again set the standard in the SSC.
Florida Southern slotted into second with 38 points and one first-place vote, followed closely by Embry-Riddle in third with 36 points. Saint Leo finished fourth (32 points), edging Rollins, which rounded out the top five with 28 points.
Lynn enters the 2026 campaign looking to build on a 9-8 overall finish from the 2024-25 season, returning its top singles players in
Aymen Alimoussa and
Davide Cortimiglia to anchor the lineup.
The Fighting Knights open the spring slate on the road at Ave Maria on Friday, Feb. 6, with first serve set for 2:00 p.m.
