ORLANDO, Fla. – The Lynn University women's tennis team earned a top-four projection in the 2026 Sunshine State Conference Women's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll, as announced by the league on Wednesday.
Barry was selected as the preseason favorite, sweeping all nine first-place votes and totaling 81 points. The Buccaneers enter the spring ranked among the nation's elite in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Division II rankings.
Nova Southeastern followed in second with 71 points and one first-place vote, while Embry-Riddle claimed third with 64 points. Lynn secured fourth place with 56 points, finishing ahead of Florida Southern, which rounded out the top five at 48 points.

Salma Djoubri, who enters the spring ranked No. 2 nationally in Division II. Djoubri closed the fall slate with a 12–3 singles record, continuing her rise as one of the top competitors in the country.
Lynn opens the 2026 spring season on the road at Ave Maria on Friday, Feb. 6, with first serve scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
