BOCA RATON, Fla. - Trinity Mocadlo scored a game-high 24 points, but Palm Beach Atlantic closed overtime at the free-throw line to escape with a 70–67 victory over Lynn on Saturday afternoon at the de Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center. The contest featured 10 ties and 17 lead changes, with neither team leading by more than seven points, before the Sailfish edged the Fighting Knights in the final seconds of the extra period.
 

The loss puts Lynn at 12-9 overall and 6-7 in conference play.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

- Mocadlo opened the scoring with a three-pointer from the wing, 3-0 

- Alana Francis finished inside for Lynn's first two-point basket, 5-0 

- Emily Jean-Glaude scored eight first-quarter points to help Lynn take a 19-17 lead after one 

- Hannah Wentworth knocked down a transition three early in the second quarter to give Lynn a five-point cushion 

- Mocadlo hit a fastbreak three to tie the game at 27 apiece with just under four minutes left in the second quarter 

- Glaude scored back-to-back baskets in the paint late in the half 

- A jumper by Katie Tiffan in the paint gave the Blue and White the lead once again with 2:37 on the clock, 29-27 

- Jean-Glaude closed the quarter with a layup to maintain a 33-30 advantage heading into halftime 

- Francis opened the third quarter with a layup in Lynn's first possession, 35-30 

- After PBA took the lead, Wentworth buried a three off a pass from Dianka Hardisson to knot the game at 38 with 7:42 on the clock 

- The game remained back and forth for the rest of the quarter before Mocadlo netted a three with 2:10 remaining in the third to give Lynn another five-point cushion at 47-42 

- Wentworth made two free throws at the buzzer to push the lead to 49-42 entering the fourth 

- Palm Beach Atlantic opened the final quarter with a 9-2 run 

- Tiffan's and-one layup gave Lynn a 57-55 edge with under two minutes remaining 

- Mocadlo hit two free throws with 48 seconds left to make it a three-point game, 59-56 

- The Sailfish tied the score at 59 with a three-pointer in the final 40 seconds, forcing overtime 

- Glaude opened overtime with a layup from Mocadlo, 61-61
