MELBOURNE, Fla. - Hannah Wentworth broke Lynn's single-season three-point field goals made record with 76 as the Fighting Knights rallied late in the final game of the regular season but fell to Florida Tech, 61-55, Saturday evening.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn traded early buckets, with the first points of the game coming from
Dianka Hardisson on a Wentworth assist to tie the score 2-2
- Two free throws from
Serena Baker gave Lynn a 4-2 lead
- The Fighting Knights battled throughout the first quarter before
Angelina Deleon stole the ball and scored on a fast break to make it 14-7
- The period ended with a made free throw by
Emily Jean-Glaude as Lynn trailed 16-8
- Jean-Glaude opened the second-quarter scoring on a
Karishma Ortiz assist to cut the deficit to 16-10
- Florida Tech responded with a 4-0 run before Wentworth knocked down her first three-pointer of the game on a Hardisson assist, making it 20-13
- A defensive rebound by Hardisson sparked a Lynn possession that led to
Trinity Mocadlo being fouled on a three-point attempt. She converted all three free throws to cut the deficit to four, 20-16
- Baker added two points on an offensive rebound and tip-in layup to make it 24-18
- Hardisson recorded back-to-back assists on Wentworth three-pointers, trimming the deficit to 27-24

- Lynn entered the fourth quarter trailing 46-39 after Jean-Glaude converted a free throw late in the period
- The Fighting Knights battled in the fourth, trading early buckets from Deleon and Mocadlo to pull within five, 55-50
- Deleon added a layup on an Ortiz assist to cut the deficit to 55-52
- Wentworth connected on another three-pointer to make it 59-55
- Lynn fell short down the stretch, with Florida Tech securing the 61-55 victory
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Wentworth led Lynn with 15 points and two assists. Her four three-pointers broke the program's single-season record, previously held since the 2016-17 season
- Deleon added 14 points, seven rebounds, two steals, and one assist
- Mocadlo recorded 10 points, two rebounds, one assist, and one steal
- Hardisson grabbed a personal season-high of 10 rebounds to go along with four assists, two points, and one steal
- Jean-Glaude finished with six points and four rebounds
