JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Lynn University women's lacrosse team improved to 4-1 on the season with a dominant 17-3 victory over No. 17 Dominican (N.Y.) on Thursday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:

Rebecca Clark opened the scoring just 44 seconds into the contest, converting a free-position opportunity to give the Fighting Knights an early 1-0 lead

Hannah Exley followed with another free-position goal at the 11:17 mark, doubling Lynn's advantage to 2-0
- After a Dominican green card, Clark capitalized on the man-up opportunity off an
Elizabeth Clagett assist to extend the lead to 3-0
- Clark struck again less than a minute later, completing a natural hat trick and pushing the margin to 4-0

Angelia Huggins added a free-position goal with 3:51 remaining in the first quarter as Lynn built a commanding 5-0 edge
- Dominican broke through late in the opening frame, but Lynn carried a 5-1 lead into the second quarter
- Clark recorded her fourth goal of the game at 11:11 in the second period, sparking a three-goal stretch

Zoe Stewart and Clagett each found the back of the net before halftime, sending the Fighting Knights into the break with an 8-1 cushion

Sara Williams, and Farinas to finalize the 17-3 victory
FIGHTING KNIGHT STATS:
- Clark led the offense with four goals while also collecting three ground balls and three draw controls
- Huggins added a hat trick, converting twice on free-position attempts
- Farinas contributed four points on two goals and two assists
- Timperio recorded two goals, including a man-up score in the third quarter
- Lynn outshot Dominican 32-14 and held advantages in ground balls (13-8) and draw controls (13-9)
