Women's tennis edged by No. 8 Mississippi College

Box Score CLINTON, Miss. - The Lynn University women's tennis team dropped a tightly contested 4–3 decision to No. 8 Mississippi College on Saturday afternoon.

The Fighting Knights move to 6-3 overall this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Mississippi College won the doubles point to secure the early point
- Kristen Younes put Lynn on the board with a dominant performance at No. 2 singles, cruising to a 6-0, 6-2 straight-set victory
- Carla Galmiche added another point for the Fighting Knights with a convincing 6-3, 6-2 win in the No. 4 flight
- Meadow Garcia delivered a key three-set victory at No. 3 singles, battling back after dropping the second set to win 6-4, 2-6, 6-3
- In the top flight Salma Djoubri pushed her opponent to the brink but ultimately fell in a tight match, 4-6, 6-7
