VALDOSTA, Ga. - The No. 17 Lynn University women's tennis team battled to a hard-fought 4-3 victory over No. 20 Valdosta State on Friday afternoon.
With the victory, Lynn improves to 13-7 overall.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn secured the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 flights
- Djoubri gave Lynn an early edge in singles with a dominant 6-2, 6-2 win in the first flight
- Cakarevic added a crucial point with a 6-0, 7-6 (7-2) victory in the fourth flight
- Younes battled through a three-set thriller, winning 6-2, 3-6, 7-6 (7-2) at No. 2 singles to secure the 4-3 win for the Blue and White
