ORLANDO, Fla. - Following a dominant performance in Lynn's 6-1 victory over Eckerd, Salma Djoubri has been named the Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced.

Djoubri led the way for the Fighting Knights from the top of the lineup, earning victories in both doubles and singles play. She teamed with Kristen Younes at No. 2 doubles for a decisive 6-0 win, helping Lynn secure the early advantage. In singles, Djoubri was equally impressive, cruising to a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 1 to set the tone in the team's commanding win.

Currently ranked No. 3 in Division II singles by the ITA, Djoubri continues to establish herself as one of the top players in the nation while leading a Lynn squad that sits No. 12 in the ITA national rankings. Her performance against Eckerd further highlighted her consistency and dominance at the top of the lineup.

Djoubri and the Fighting Knights will look to carry that momentum forward as they continue conference play with ranked matchups against Rollins and Embry-Riddle this week.
