ORLANDO, Fla. - Salma Djoubri highlighted a strong All-Sunshine State Conference showing for the Lynn University women's tennis team, as the senior was named SSC Athlete of the Year and earned First Team Singles honors as announced by the league office. Kristen Younes added Second Team Singles recognition, while Carla Galmiche and Meadow Garcia were named to the Second Team Doubles list.

Djoubri becomes the league's top individual honoree after putting together one of the most impressive singles campaigns in the country. The Caudebec Les Elbeuf, France native is ranked No. 2 nationally in the ITA singles rankings and has posted a 12-1 record while playing every match at the No. 1 flight.

Younes joined Djoubri among the conference's top singles players with Second Team honors. The senior from Haifa, Israel is ranked No. 35 nationally by the ITA and produced a 12-4 singles record, including a dominant 9-1 mark at the No. 2 flight.

In doubles, Galmiche and Garcia earned Second Team recognition after emerging as one of Lynn's top pairings. Galmiche, a senior from Seloncourt, France, and Garcia, a junior from Orlando, Florida, are ranked No. 38 nationally in the ITA doubles rankings.

The duo finished 5-2 together, all at the No. 1 flight, and went 2-0 against SSC opponents. Their success helped Lynn post a 31-20 overall doubles record and a 7-2 mark in conference doubles play.

Lynn's four All-SSC selections reflect the strength of a lineup that has battled one of the nation's toughest schedules. The Fighting Knights entered postseason play at 12-8 overall after going 9-6 against nationally ranked opponents and 5-2 against regionally ranked teams.
