Lynn men's lacrosse posts nation's top Division II GPA, earns sixth straight USILA Academic Team Award

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Lynn University men's lacrosse team continued its tradition of academic excellence as the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its 2026 Academic Team Awards, recognizing the Fighting Knights for the sixth-consecutive season.

Lynn once again led all NCAA Division II men's lacrosse programs in the classroom, posting the highest team GPA in the division. The Fighting Knights were one of 30 Division II institutions to earn the USILA Academic Team Award, which recognizes programs that achieve a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year.

The Fighting Knights have now finished with Division II's top team GPA in back-to-back seasons after leading the nation with a 3.62 GPA in 2025.

Across all three NCAA divisions, Brown University earned the highest team GPA in Division I, Lynn topped Division II and Haverford College led Division III.

The annual USILA Academic Team Award highlights programs that demonstrate excellence both in competition and in the classroom, reinforcing the organization's commitment to recognizing academic achievement among collegiate men's lacrosse student-athletes.

Lynn's latest honor reflects the continued dedication of its student-athletes, coaching staff and academic support personnel to maintaining one of the premier academic cultures in NCAA Division II men's lacrosse.
