ORLANDO, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference released its 2026 Women's Soccer Preseason Coaches Poll and Lynn University was picked eighth with 80 points.
Florida Tech was selected as the preseason favorite after receiving 10 first-place votes. The Panthers enter the season as the defending NCAA Division II National Champions after capturing the program's first national title in 2025.
Nova Southeastern, the reigning SSC regular-season and tournament champion, was picked second and received the remaining first-place vote. Eckerd was selected third, followed by Embry-Riddle, Rollins and Florida Southern.
Lynn sits eighth in the poll, just two points ahead of ninth-place Palm Beach Atlantic. Barry and Saint Leo round out the 11-team rankings.
The 2026 regular season begins on Thursday, Aug. 27 at Texas A&M International at 8:00pm EST.
