BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's baseball team matched its largest output of the season defeating Hillsdale 16-2 Saturday afternoon at the McCusker Sports Complex.  The Fighting Knights improve to 7-6 on the season while the Chargers fall to 0-1.

Lynn recorded seven runs in both the second and third inning to break the game wide open for winning pitcher Jason Beaumont.  The Blue & White would also get two more in the seventh before the Chargers got on the board with a pair of runs in the ninth.

Phil Mannelly paced the Knights offense going 3-3 with two runs and 3 RBIs while Eric Herrera and Kyle Radzewski also drove in three runs.  Mike Diorio plated a pair of runners while Anthony Boza connected on a pair of hits.

In the victory, Beaumont allowed just one hit and struck out four in six innings of work.  Andrew Fabian allowed just a walk in the seventh while Kyle Wolfe pitched a perfect eighth inning for the Knights.
