Box Score Huntsville, Ala. – Worn down and tired in their third game in five days, Lynn University's 25th-ranked men's soccer team dug down deep to knock-off Alabama Huntsville 2-1 in double overtime on Monday. Newly minted Sunshine State Conference Offensive Player of the Week Jack Watson scored his third game-winner in as many days to give head coach John Rootes his 400th career victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Unlike previous games, the Blue & White were tested in the early goings, with Alexander Roth needing to make a save on a Guy Clennett shot and the Chargers turning in a corner kick and point-blank header.
- Alun Webb would put Lynn on top 1-0 just minutes before the halftime whistle after burying a penalty kick.
- The Fighting Knights' defense held strong until the 81st minute when Khalil Bell scored to knot the game 1-1 and send the match into overtime.
- UAH nearly earned the victory in the 101st minute but Roth turned away a shot by Corentin Diverres.
- One minute later Dominic Docherty sent in a cross from the left corner and Watson headed in a goal to the top left post.
STATS OF THE GAME:
- Watson scored his team-best fifth goal of the year while Webb found the back of the net for the fourth time this season.
- Roth turned away four shots while his counterpart Myles Fullen logged three saves.
- Lynn outshot Alabama Huntsville 12-9 overall and were even 2-2 in corner kicks.

- John Rootes collected his 400th career victory in his 29th year of being a head coach.
