Box Score Dahlonega, Ga. – Everything went right for the Lynn University baseball team on Saturday night, as the Fighting Knight Bullpen shutout the Nighthawk batters en route to a 8-0 victory, clinching the weekend series in the process.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Jarren Pinkney led all Blue and White batters with three hits in four at bats. Patrick Dorrian, Jonathan Corbitt and Alex Turner were not far behind, putting up two hits each. Every Fighting Knight player recorded at least one base knock, with the exception of Willie Seay.
- Donovan Armas got his third consecutive game-two starting role in the 2017 season. In his appearance, the senior struck out 10 Nighthawk batters while not giving up a run.
- The visiting team left 13 men on base, compared to five for North Georgia.
- Steven Bower got the loss, giving up three runs on eight hits, gave away three free passes and struck out three Fighting Knight batters.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- The Fighting Knights capture their second series victory of the season, first road series win of the year.
- Last road series win on the road against a nationally-ranked team was Feb. 26-27, 2016 when the Blue and White swept No. 9 Florida Southern.
- Armas recorded his second victory on the mound, while lowering his season ERA to 0.48.
