BOCA RATON, Fla. – The eighth-ranked Lynn University men's tennis squad used the momentum from a 3-0 advantage in doubles to guide the Blue and White to their second sweep on the year, defeating Ave Maria 9-0 on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights took care of business in doubles, heading to singles up 3-0.
- Picking up where he left off on Sunday versus Valdosta State, Mehdi Laalej took home the 6-0, 6-1 'W' against David Zuleta at the top singles flight.
- 19th-ranked Jean-Baptiste Mateo and 15th-ranked Kay Bartmann both swept their opponents 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, respectively. Mateo's victory at the No. 2 slot clinched the match for the Blue and White.
- At the No. 5 matchup, Florian Clemares also took home the straight-set 6-0, 6-0 win.
- Tristan Houle (No. 4) came out on top in a 6-1, 6-0 victory while Jose Porfirio Ordonez (No. 6) rounded off the night in a 6-0, 6-1 triumph.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- This match is the second in four days for the Fighting Knights.
- Porfirio Ordonez made his season debut against the Gyrenes.
- With the win, Lynn remains undefeated versus Ave Maria.
