BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's eighth-ranked men's tennis team won its 15th consecutive match on Saturday morning with an 8-1 victory over No. 28 Rollins College. The Fighting Knights head into the final two contests of the season with a 5-0 Sunshine State Conference mark.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn performed strongly in doubles action to build a 3-0 advantage.
- Mehdi Laalej/Florian Clemares won their 10th of the season as a pair with an 8-3 victory at the top flight. Kay Bartmann/Jose Porfirio Ordonez took No. 2, 8-2 and Jean-Baptiste Mateo/Tristan Houle rounded out the action with an 8-4 triumph.
- In singles, 5th-ranked Mateo quickly went to work per usual, winning the second flight, 6-2, 6-0.
- Clemares at No. 6 and 16th-ranked Bartmann at No. 3 followed up with straight-set wins, giving up just three games apiece.
- At No. 4, Houle outlasted in the first set, 7-5, before closing out in straight sets.
- Rollins notched its lone point of the day at No. 5 singles in a 7-5, 1-6, 12-10 victory.
- Following a first set defeat at the top position, Laalej rebounded to take down Patrick Sell, 3-6, 6-3, 10-6.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- Lynn, who is currently second in the SSC, has two matches left in the regular season, including first-place Barry and third-place Saint Leo.
- Houle and Mateo also posted their 10th doubles win of the year as a team.
