STATS OF THE GAME:

  • Palmer had the feeling all day, shooting 11-of-16 from the field, including 5-of-7 from beyond the arc for his 27 points.
  • He was more effective down the stretch, going 6-for-8 in the second half and a perfect 3-of-3 from downtown.
  • Brandon Bornelus ran into foul trouble early so Allen Baez stepped up off the bench.  He shot an efficient 3-of-4 from the field, 2-of-2 from three-point range and 2-for-2 at the charity stripe for 10 points.  He also dished out eight assists.
  • Baez part deux was effective on the glass, pulling down nine rebounds to go along with his 10 points on 3-of-8 shooting from the field and 3-for-4 at the line.
  • Rasheed Worrell also displayed his motor on the hardwood, cleaning the glass with nine rebounds and blocking three shots to go along with his 10 points.
  • Saint Leo's Kryan McClure led the team with 16 points but was held to just three points in the second half, which included a three-pointer near the end of regulation.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE:

  • Palmer's previous career-high for points in a game was 25, which he accomplished twice last season.  This is also his fourth 20+ point game this year.
  • The sophomore out of Delray Beach, Fla., also tied his career-best with five three-pointers made.
  • Lynn's 47.8 percentage from three-point range was its third best of the year.
  • Brandon Bornelus' 16 minutes played are the fewest he has played since entering the starting lineup and third-fewest on the year.
  • Conversely, Allen Baez's 25 minutes are the most since Nova Southeastern on Nov. 15.  His eight assists are a season-high while this is his first double-digit scoring effort since the season opener.
  • Baez's eight dimes were one shy of a career-high and were the most since Feb. 18, 2017.
