BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn University's 10th-ranked men's tennis team closed out its regular-season home slate on Friday afternoon, defeating Florida National University, 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn swept two doubles flights and led in the third to clinch the pairs point.
- Kay Bartmann and Patrick Bessinger swept the top doubles flight, 6-0, with Gabriel Hocevar and Lucca Baptista posting the same score in the No. 2 match.
- Ryan Neale and Jose Porfirio Ordonez led 3-2 at No. 3 doubles.
- The Blue and White needed just three straight-set wins in singles play to end the contest.
- Baptista (6-0, 6-4) and Hocevar (6-3, 6-1) each picked up their second wins of the afternoon at the second and fourth flights, respectively.
- Robin Calais debuted in singles play, winning the No. 5 bout, 6-1, 6-3.
- Bartmann, Porfirio Ordonez and Diego Valant were all up a set in their singles matches at the first, third and sixth flights, respectively.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- This match was originally scheduled for March 18, but was postponed due to weather.
- Valant made his Lynn and collegiate debut. Neale appeared in his third match of the spring season.
