LAKELAND, Fla. – The Lynn University women's cross country team closed its 2022 season on Saturday with 16
th place at the NCAA South Regional Championships.
Six of the seven Fighting Knight runners set personal-records with their times on the 6k course at Holloway Park.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn finished with 385 points and tied with Montevallo, however, the Falcons held the tiebreaker based on individual finishes
- Junior
Blair Vignes took 37
th place with a personal-best 22:50.9 and was Lynn's top finisher
- Sophomore
Brooke Mullins was second for the Fighting Knights as she took 71
st overall in 24:02.3
- Sophomore
Lily Koch captured 78
th in a personal-record 24:20.3
- Junior
Deike Schipper ran a personal-best 25:17.4 and finished in 99
th
- Graduate student
Emma Campbell was the Fighting Knights' fifth runner as she took 102
nd in a personal-best 25:28.7
- Freshman
Nina Szklany finished in 111
th in a personal-record 26:54.8
- Freshman
Brooke Bond rounded out the Fighting Knights with 114
th in a personal-record 27:28.8
