WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Sophomore
Jessica Lombardo placed inside the top 10 as the Lynn University women's cross country team earned a fourth-place finish at the season-opening Keiser University Flagship Invitational on Friday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn totaled 110 points to place fourth with an average time of 21:11, while Florida Atlantic won the meet with 27 points and an average time of 18:19
- Lombardo clocked 18:42.4 for 10th overall and a new 5k personal best, marking her first top 10 finish of the season
- Sophomore
Annabelle Daley was next for the Fighting Knights, placing 17th in 20:00.9 for a new personal record
- Junior
Mia Gagliardi claimed 34th in 21:14.8 for a personal best
- Sophomore
Elizabeth O'Brien finished 45th in 22:57.7 for her best 5k finish
- Senior
Brooke Bond followed just behind O'Brien in 46th with a finish of 23:03.8.
- Freshman
Josie Harshbarger rounded out Lynn's lineup in 57th at 26:37.8 in her Fighting Knight debut
