Just over one minute later, Jalen Stanton took another Ilchuk pass and beat the keeper.
  • Then, just moments after the first goal, Ilchuk scored a goal of his own, cutting the six-goal deficit in half in just over one minute. The Tars would score again before the end of the period to take a 7-3 lead into the second quarter.
  • Ilchuk came out on fire in the second quarter, scoring two unassisted goals in the first four minutes of the half. Rollins was able to score to get the lead back to three, but Tommy Ruddo and Colby Keefe answered with two goals to cut the lead to 8-7 heading into the halftime break.
  • Joseph Michalski scored on the first possession of the second half to tie the game up at 8-8. Rollins quickly answered to regain the lead, then both teams struggled to score for some time.
  • Finally, Ilchuk found the back of the net for the fourth time to tie the game again. The goal was followed by a Stanton goal that gave Lynn their first lead of the game.
