HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Panthers struck first in the first inning. They went up 2-0 off of a reached error and an RBI single.
• Faith Miller tallied her only strikeout in the bottom of the second.
• In the bottom of the fourth, the Panthers put up another run to go up 3-0.
• The Fighting Knights' lone run came in the top of the fifth. After Monique Poitevin and Karlie Sweiderk reached first off of errors, in a double steal attempt Poitevin was able to steal home. Lynn trailed 3-1.
• Florida Tech scored again off of a sac-bunt in the bottom of the fifth and eventually won 4-1.
• Aymee Godmaire went 1-3 with two walks.
• Taylor Scala and Janelle Dominguez went 1-3.
• Poitevin had a stolen base and a run.
• Miller pitched six innings for Lynn where she allowed three earned runs on seven hits.
