HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Panthers jumped ahead 2-0 in the first two and half minutes of the first quarter.
- With 5:41 left in the first Jalen Stanton scored Lynn's first goal of the game. His goal was on the man up and was unassisted.
- Caleb Wells tied the game with :38 seconds left in the quarter on the man up. Xander Cosenza had the assist on the goal.
- Early in the second Florida tech tacked on three more goals to go up 5-2.
- Cosenza added a goal to his assist on the man up with 11:20 left in the first half.
- Colby Keefe put the Fighting Knights within one Matthew Ilchuk with 10:18 to go.
- After the Panthers went up 6-4, Wells added two goals for the hat trick. Justin Berg had an assist on the first.
- Before the first half would end, with Florida Tech up 8-6, Cosenza scored again to put the scoring at 8-7.
- Just :42 seconds into the third and trailing by two, Tommy Ruddo scored for Lynn from Wells.
- The Panthers added three more before Cosenza scored his hat trick goal from Ilchuk with :42 seconds left.
- With Florida Tech leading by five, Ilchuk scored two minutes into the fourth quarter to be down four goals.
- Florida Tech led by six, but the Fighting Knights added four more goals before the end of the game.
- Ilchuk scored his second goal, Cosenza scored his fourth from Ilchuk, Stanton added another goal from Ruddo, and Wells scored his fourth from Cosenza.
- Cosenza had four goals and two assist. He also led the team with seven shots on goal.
- Wells had four goals and one assist. He also added six shots on goal.
- Ilchuk had two goals and three assists.
- Stanton had two goals.
- Ruddo had a goal and an assist.
- Colin Casey had 17 saves on 33 shots.
