HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After an early goal by Jalen Stanton to go up 1-0, Saint Leo would score six straight and go into the second.
- In the second quarter, Lynn would dominate defensively and offensively to take an 8-7 lead going into halftime.
- Cal Gallagher would lead the way with two goals in the quarter, with one goal assisted by Thomas Murray.
- The start of the second half saw Lynn pick up where they left off, with Caleb Wells scoring two of the three Fighting Knight goals in the third quarter to take an 11-7 lead.
- A strong surge by Saint Leo in the fourth was not enough. Stanton, Xander Cosenza, Thomas Murray, and Mathew Ilchuk scored goals to take a 15-12 victory over Saint Leo.
- Stanton led the way on offense with three goals, followed by five other Fighting Knights with two goals each.
- Colin Casey would have seven saves on 19 shots against.
