HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights struck first and early today in their win. Just ten seconds into the game Xander Cosenza scored his 21st goal of the season for Lynn to go up 1-0.
- After the Eagles went up 2-1, Lynn came back with two goals of their own. Matthew Ilchuk and Tommy Ruddo scored to put Lynn ahead 3-2.
- The Eagles scored two more goals to take the lead again, but another goal from Ilchuk took the lead back. Colby Keefe had the assist on the goal.
- Cosenza scored a minute later for Lynn to go up 5-4 with 13:22 left in the first half.
- A goal from Embry-Riddle tied it up, but another goal from Ruddo from Thomas Murray put Lynn up 6-5.
- Coming out of the half with the lead, Lynn scored two straight goals to go up 8-5. Jalen Stanton scored from Joseph Michalski just :50 seconds in. Fisher Williams scored his first goal of the season from Michalski with just over ten minutes left.
- Michalski scored for Lynn after the Eagles put up two to keep Lynn's lead at 9-7.
- Just over four minutes into the fourth quarter the Eagles tied the game at 9-9.
- Stanton scored again for Lynn to go up 10-9 with 06:58 left.
- The Eagles tied the game at ten with 03:17 left in the game, but Michalski's 21st goal of the season just :38 seconds later would secure the win for the Fighting Knights.
- Michalski led the team with two goals and two assists.
- Ilchuk, Cosenza, Ruddo, and Stanton all had two goals.
- Williams's first goal of the season came on his one shot on goal.
- Colin Casey had 13 saves on 23 shots in the win for Lynn.
