Box Score Boca Raton, Florida – All four quarters were a battle as both teams throw haymakers at each other over the course of the game. Back to Back goals by the Fighting Knights late in the game pushed them over the top against No. 12 Embry-Riddle 16-15.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights came out of the locker room swinging, with Sydney Hill scoring the first goal of the game right away. The Eagles would strike back with their first goal of the game with 10 minutes left in the first quarter.
- Lynn would outscore Embry-Riddle the final 10 minutes of the quarter to take a 4-2 lead going into the second quarter. Danielle Farinas, Isabella Clark, and Mallory Jarka would all score in the quarter for the Fighting Knights.
- The Eagles would have a strong second quarter to tie the game 7-7 going into halftime. Hill would score the game-tying goal, assisted by Jarka with no time left on the clock.
- After the first goal of the quarter by the Eagles Danielle Farinas would score back-to-back goals to give Lynn a 9-8 lead, while also recording her 100th career point.
- A quick response after an Embry-Riddle goal by Diane Dohler in her first game back from injury, giving Lynn a 10-9 lead. Kristyn Johnson would follow that with a goal of her own, assisted by Clark to take the lead going into the final quarter. The third quarter was a dog fight with Lynn coming out on top, outscoring Embry-Riddle 4-3 to take an 11-10 lead going into the fourth.
- The fourth quarter was a back and forth affair with both teams having a one-point advantage at one time or another. Jarka, Hill, and Clark would all score big goals in the first half of the quarter to take a two-goal lead with 7:30 remaining.
- Embry-Riddle would climb back in the game with three straight goals to retake a 15-14 lead with a little over five minutes remaining in the fourth. Hill shot a rocket between the legs of the goalie to tie the game 15-15 with less than three minutes remaining in the game. A free position shot with 2:13 left in the fourth by Jarka was the final lead change of the game. The Fighting Knights would use a final defensive stand to seal the game with 32 seconds left.
- Ciara Moorman was dominant at the goalie position with 14 saves in 29 shot attempts by the Eagles.
- Johnson, Farinas, and Jarka would combine for all 13 draw controls for the Fighting Knights, while Hill and Farinas took the game over offensively with four goals each. The playmaking duties were spread out throughout the game with four players having at least one assist.
