NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Three members of the Lynn University women's lacrosse team earned regional recognition from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA), as
Rebecca Clark was named to the IWLCA All-South Region First Team while
Elizabeth Clagett and
Emily Solomon collected Second Team honors, the organization announced Wednesday.
Clark continued to add to one of the most decorated careers in program history following a dominant senior campaign in which she was also named the Sunshine State Conference Midfield Player of the Year. The Abington, Pennsylvania native finished the year with 50 goals and 16 assists for 66 points, ranking among the SSC leaders in goals per game (3.13) and points per game (4.13). Clark also impacted the game defensively and in transition, leading the Fighting Knights with 47 ground balls, 45 draw controls, and 37 caused turnovers. Her season featured multiple signature performances, including an eight-goal outing against Tampa and a nine-point effort during conference play. Clark closed her career as one of the top all-around players in Lynn history, finishing near the top of the program record books in goals, points, draw controls, caused turnovers, and ground balls.
Clagett earned Second Team All-Region honors after putting together another strong season in the midfield for the Blue and White. The senior recorded 37 goals and 16 assists for 53 points while ranking among the SSC leaders with 2.31 goals and 3.31 points per game. In addition to her offensive production, Clagett added 33 ground balls and 31 draw controls, showcasing her versatility on both ends of the field. She delivered several standout performances throughout the season, including a six-goal effort against Florida Tech and seven points against the Panthers later in conference play.
Solomon was recognized as one of the top defenders in the South Region following a stellar senior season anchoring Lynn's defensive unit. A First Team All-SSC selection, Solomon totaled 33 ground balls and ranked among the conference leaders with 50 draw controls while adding a team-high 53 caused turnovers. Her ability to disrupt opposing offenses and generate extra possessions played a major role in Lynn's success throughout the season, as she consistently matched up against some of the top attackers in the nation. By the end of her career, Solomon had firmly established herself as one of the premier defenders in program history, finishing among Lynn's all-time leaders in caused turnovers, ground balls, and draw controls. Her 127 career caused
turnovers rank among the best totals the program has ever seen, cementing her legacy as one of the top defensive players to wear the Blue and White.
The national recognition for the Fighting Knights continued earlier this week as Clark, Solomon, and Clagett were all named USA Lacrosse Magazine All-Americans. Clark earned First Team honors, Solomon collected Third Team recognition, and Clagett was selected as an Honorable Mention All-American following their standout 2026 campaigns.
The trio helped lead the Fighting Knights to a 9-7 overall record during the 2026 campaign, as Lynn averaged 13.44 goals per game and continued its rise as one of the top programs in the country.
