LAKELAND, Fla. – The Lynn University women's cross country team raced at the Sunshine State Conference Championships on early Saturday morning. Led by senior Blair Vignes (20th), the Fighting Knights finished in 6th place in the 6k-race.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vignes (23:14.9) paced Lynn, earning 20th place
- Junior Brooke Mullins (32nd) crossed the finish line in 23:59.1
- Freshman Skyler Gillett (24:34.5) captured 39th place
- Junior Lily Koch (48th/25:05.9) finished inside the top-50
- Freshman Davyn Dreibelbis (26:22.8) earned 64th place
- Sophomores Nina Szklany (73rd/27:45.4) and Brooke Bond (75th/29:13.3), as well as freshman Mia Gagliardi (76th/30:35.9) finished inside the top-76
 
UP NEXT
The Fighting Knights will travel to Montevallo, Ala. to compete in the NCAA Division II Regional on Saturday, Nov. 4. The race is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m.
