AVE MARIA, Fla. – The Lynn University women's cross country team concluded its third race of the season on Saturday morning with third place out of 9 teams at the the Ave Maria Invite. The Fighting Knights were led by a trio of top-12 finishers, with
Blair Vignes,
Skyler Gillett and
Brooke Mullins leading the way.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Senior
Blair Vignes earned a third-place finish, crossing the finish line in 23:50.90
- Freshman
Skyler Gillett (7th/24:35.30) also finished inside the top-10
- Junior
Brooke Mullins (11th) finished just outside the top-10, ending the race in 24:55.0
- Junior
Lily Koch (30th/26:29.60) and freshman
Davyn Dreibelbis (35th/27:14.30) earned top-40 finishes
- Sophomore
Nina Szklany (44th/28:20.80), freshman
Mia Gagliardi (52nd/29:11.80) and sophomore
Brooke Bond (58th/29:21.70) placed inside the top-60

- The Fighting Knights will race on Saturday, Oct. 21 in the Sunshine State Conference Championship at Holloway Park in Lakeland, Fla. The race is set to begin at 7:55 a.m.:
