MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Lynn University men's cross country team completed action at the NCAA Division II South Regional on Saturday morning. The Fighting Knights were led by a 43rd place finish from junior Luke Anthony Sweatman in the 9800M race.

As a team, Lynn finished in 15th place (387 pts.) of 16 teams and just nine points behind 14th place Valdosta State. Morehouse was 13th with 375 points.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sweatman led the way for Lynn, earning 43rd place with a time of 32:14.20
- Sophomore Renzo Almeida (33:25) captured 66th place
- Senior David Cueje Luque (96th/35:12.30) and junior Cameron Matejka (97th/35:14.30) finished back-to-back
- Sophomore Robert Davidson (102nd) crossed the finish line at 35:27.30
- Freshmen Kyle Juliano (113th/37:57.70) and Ethan Friedman (115th/39:11.70) were Lynn's final two finishers in the 9800M
