WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Lynn University men's cross-country team completed its race at the Keiser University Flagship on Friday evening. The Fighting Knights were led by a 7th-place finish from Luke Sweatman in the 5k race.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights finished in fourth place of nine teams competing
- Junior Luke Sweatman (7th) paced the Fighting Knights in the 5k, crossing the finish line with a time of 15:53.85
- Senior David Cueje Luque finished in 16:05.05, earning 13th place
- Sophomore Renzo Almeida (21st) captured a top-25 finish, clearing the race in 16:18.83
- Sophomore Robert Davidson (44th/17:14.47) and junior Cameron Matejka (47th/17:21.77) both earned top-50 placement
- Freshmen Ethan Friedman (85th/18:57.38) and Kyle Juliano (86th/18:57.49) finished inside the top-90.
- Sophomore Netsanet Collins was 101st in 19:50.31
