Box Score SAINT LEO, Fla. – Junior
Mallory Jarka scored four goals and handed out two assists as the No. 10 ranked Lynn University women's lacrosse team suffered a 15-10 loss at No. 18 Saint Leo, Saturday. The loss is the first since February for the Fighting Knights that are now 11-2 overall and 2-2 in the SSC.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Lions outshot Lynn 42-27, including a 30-19 edge in shots on goal, and held a 16-12 lead in draw controls
- Lynn had 22 turnovers, while the hosts caused 12 turnovers

Callista Elica made a career-high 15 saves to help keep the Fighting Knights in the game
- Saint Leo jumped out to a 4-0 lead midway through the first quarter
- Jarka found junior
Kristyn Johnson for Lynn's first goal with 6:45 to play in the first frame
- Saint Leo scored the next three goals for a 7-1 lead
- Jarka scored with 1:08 left in the first to pull the visitors to within 7-2

Hayley Ashburn and Jarka each found the net late in the second quarter as Lynn trailed 8-4 at intermission
- The Lions extended their lead to six goals twice in the third before Jarka scored two more goals to close the third with Lynn down by four 12-8
- Sophomore
Rebecca Clark scored back-to-back goals in the fourth with her second closing the gap to 13-10 with 10:42 to play
- Saint Leo sealed the victory with two goals inside the final five minutes
