TEMPE, Ariz. – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced the 2024 Division II Women's All-Academic Teams and Lynn University was one of 112 teams from across DII to earn the team academic honor. Individually, eight of the 11 student-athletes on the 2024 roster were awarded All-Academic honors.
The Fighting Knights carried a 3.77 GPA throughout the 2023-24 year and are one of eight Sunshine State Conference schools to earn the award.
The Lynn women's team has won the academic honor 15 times since the ITA began honoring programs in 2004.
Sophomore
Dolores Molina (MBA) and junior
Greta Schieroni (International Business Management) led the way with 4.00 and 3.97 GPAs, respectively.
The pair is joined on the academic team by graduate student
Deniza Marcinkevica (3.92 - MBA), freshman
Maja Stajszczak (3.89 – Advertising & Public Relations), freshman
Allison Wallace (3.85 – Multimedia Journalism), junior
Zofia Podbiol (3.72 - Marketing), sophomore
Salma Djoubri (3.64 – Sports Management) and sophomore
Jade Marie (3.53 - Undecided).
To be eligible for the award, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.5 or above for the 2023-24 academic year.
