WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Senior
Luke Anthony Sweatman took home third place to help lead the Lynn University men's cross country team to a runner-up finish at the season-opening Keiser Flagship Invitational (5k), Friday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Fighting Knights finished in second place with a score of 39, while Palm Beach Atlantic won the meet with a score of 20
- Lynn's top four runners finished inside the top-10, while seven runners finished in the top-20
- Sweatman took home third in 15:56.20, just a second behind the second-place finisher
- The third-place finish is his fourth top-10 finish in the last three seasons

Renzo Almeida captured seventh in 16:36.90
- It was Almeida's second top-10 finish in the last two seasons
