Brian Hoskins and senior
Matthew Canedo both earned the title of Scholar All-American.
The Fighting Knights posted a Division II-best 3.62 GPA and were one of just 31 schools in DII to receive the team academic honor. Lynn was also one of just five Sunshine State Conference schools recognized by USILA.
Hoskins and Canedo each had successful final seasons with the Fighting Knights in and out of the classroom, meeting USILA's criteria of earning above a 3.0 cumulative GPA and being an outstanding player on the field.
Hoskins played in all 15 games in the 2025 season and paced the team with 33 points. A leader on the offensive end, he finished second on the team in assists with 16 while rattling home 17 goals. Hoskins earned Second Team All-SSC honors for his excellent final season.
Canedo served as the captain of the stout 2025 Lynn defense, leading all defenders in the SSC with 36 caused turnovers for 2.40 a game. He was present in all 15 games of the season, accounting for 43 ground balls while scoring his first goal as a Fighting Knight back in the 11-10 win over Southern New Hampshire. Canedo racked up accolades including First Team All-SSC and a USA Lacrosse All-American nod.
