BOCA RATON, Fla. - Lynn University men's golf alum Marcelo Rozo earned his first PGA Tour card in December, closing out a strong performance at the final-stage PGA Tour Q-School at TPC Sawgrass.
Rozo secured PGA Tour status after carding a 1-under 69 in the final round at the Dye's Valley Course, finishing inside the cut line to earn full PGA Tour membership for the 2026 season.
A native of Bogotá, Colombia, Rozo competed for Lynn University prior to turning professional in 2012. Since beginning his professional career, he has recorded three victories on PGA Tour Latino América, including the 2013 Argentina Open, and has spent several seasons competing on the Korn Ferry Tour.
Rozo's journey to the PGA Tour included overcoming a significant wrist injury that sidelined him for much of the 2023 season, requiring surgery and extensive rehabilitation. He returned to competition in late 2023 and worked his way back into full form, ultimately earning his breakthrough at Q-School.
Now set to compete on golf's highest level, Rozo becomes one of the latest Lynn University alumni to reach the PGA Tour, continuing the Fighting Knights' tradition of success at the professional level.
