ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference released its 2026 Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll on Monday, with Lynn University projected to finish fifth among the league's eight programs.
The Fighting Knights collected 28 points in the poll, sitting just two points behind Saint Leo for fourth place. Lynn enters the 2026 season coming off a strong 2025 campaign in which it posted a 15–5 overall record, finished 4–3 in conference play, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Defending conference and national champion Tampa once again topped the preseason rankings with 49 points. Florida Southern followed in second with 43 points, while Embry-Riddle claimed third with 35 points. Saint Leo edged Lynn for fourth with 30 points, rounding out a tightly contested top half of the poll.
Lynn will open the 2026 season on the road at Florida Southern on Friday, February 13, with first draw scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
