BOCA RATON, Fla. – The USA Lacrosse Division II Women's Top 20 has been released, and the Lynn University women's lacrosse team has earned a spot in the national spotlight, checking in at No. 10 in the preseason rankings.
The Fighting Knights continue their steady rise under head coach
Mindy Richmond, after spending much of the 2025 season ranked No. 13 and establishing themselves as one of Division II's premier programs.
Lynn is coming off a standout 2025 campaign in which the Blue and White posted a 15–5 overall record, including an 8–1 mark at home. The Fighting Knights opened the season with a program-best 12–0 start, secured their second consecutive NCAA Tournament berth, and tallied eight wins over nationally ranked opponents.
Lynn is one of five Sunshine State Conference teams featured in the Top 20. Defending national champion Tampa leads the rankings at No. 1, while Florida Southern is slotted third, Embry-Riddle sits at No. 6, and Saint Leo rounds out the league representation at No. 11.
The Fighting Knights will open the 2026 season on the road at Florida Southern on Friday, February 13, with first draw set for 5:00 p.m.
