SPARKS, Md. – USA Lacrosse Magazine has unveiled its 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Preseason All-Americans, with Lynn University women's lacrosse standouts
Rebecca Clark and
Elizabeth Clagett earning prestigious national recognition. Clark was named to the Second Team, while Clagett secured an Honorable Mention selection.
Clark, a senior midfielder, is coming off a dominant all-around season in 2025 in which she established herself as one of the premier two-way players in the Sunshine State Conference. She paced Lynn and ranked first in the SSC in ground balls (73) while also leading both the Fighting Knights and the league in caused turnovers (42). Offensively, Clark ranked sixth in the conference in points per game (4.60), totaling 92 points, while placing fifth in the SSC in assists (37). She also surpassed 55 goals and controlled the midfield with more than 64 draw controls. Clark has continued to build an impressive résumé, including Third Team USA Lacrosse All-American honors in 2025.
Clagett, a junior midfielder, emerged as another cornerstone for Lynn's success, amassing 42 goals and 18 assists for 60 points last season. Her impact extended beyond the offensive end, as she caused 19 turnovers, collected 32 ground balls, and won a staggering 59 draw controls. One of her signature performances came on Feb. 26 against Embry-Riddle, when she scored six goals in a thrilling 14-13 victory for the Blue and White.
Clark and Clagett were part of a veteran group that helped guide Lynn to a historic breakthrough in 2025, as the Fighting Knights secured the first NCAA Tournament win in program history, defeating Flagler 16-15 in the opening round. Both were also named All-Sunshine State Conference selections in 2025, underscoring Lynn's rise among the nation's best programs.
Lynn opens its 2026 season with an away match at Florida Southern on Friday, Feb. 13 at 5:00 p.m.
