VALDOSTA, Ga. - The Lynn University men's golf team competed at the First Federal Southeastern Collegiate at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club, finishing 11th in a competitive field on Monday.
The Fighting Knights closed the three-round tournament with a total of 868 (+4) after rounds of 287, 295, and 286. West Florida captured the team title with a score of 843 (-21).
Andres Asin led the Blue and White with a T-22 finish at -1, while
Joe Houghton added a top-40 finish for Lynn.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Asin paced the Fighting Knights with a T-22 finish at -1, posting rounds of 69, 77, and 69, finishing strong with one of Lynn's lowest rounds in the final day
- Houghton placed T-38 at +2, recording rounds of 75, 70, and 73 during the tournament

Matthew DePinto finished T-43 at +3, highlighted by a 69 (-3) in the final round after opening with rounds of 76 and 74

Simon Roessler also tied for 43rd at +3, beginning the event with a 68 (-4) before rounds of 76 and 75

Sebastiano Mascia rounded out Lynn's lineup with a T-65 finish at +9, carding consistent rounds of 75, 75, and 75
