WINTER PARK, Fla. – The Lynn Fighting Knights women's golf team staged an impressive rally in the final round of the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational, battling back to secure a second-place finish in the nine-team field hosted by Rollins at the Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes.
After opening the tournament at +19, the Fighting Knights responded with a +14 team round in the final round to climb the leaderboard and close the event with a two-round total of +33, finishing runner-up behind Barry (+20) while edging several nationally ranked Sunshine State Conference programs.
Junior
Amelia Ruiz Topali led the Blue and White with a tie for fifth place finish at +7, while
Emilia Koskinen also cracked the top 10 with a tie for eighth at +8.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ruiz Topali paced Lynn with a T-5 finish at +7, turning in rounds of +5 and +2 while also tying for the best par-3 scoring average (3.00) in the field
- Koskinen secured a T-8 finish at +8, highlighted by five birdies, tied for the fourth-most in the tournament

Leelou Girault posted a T-12 finish at +9, finishing among the leaders on par-5 scoring (-2) for the event

Vanessa Ramirez also finished T-12 at +9, recording 27 pars, tied for the most among all competitors

Scarlet Weidig rounded out Lynn's lineup with a 30th-place finish at +13
- As a team, the Fighting Knights excelled statistically, ranking first in par-4 scoring (4.31) and second in total birdies (17) during the tournament.
