NORMAN, Okla. – Four members of the Lynn University men's golf team have been recognized as NCAA Division II Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars, as announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). The Fighting Knights were represented by
Matthew DePinto,
Theo Desroches,
Joe Houghton, and
Cole Ropicky on this year's prestigious list.
The quartet was honored for combining excellence on the golf course with outstanding achievement in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. Lynn's four selections ranked among the 22 NCAA Division II programs to produce at least four All-America Scholars this season.
To qualify for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, compete in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average below 78.0, and carry a minimum cumulative career GPA of 3.2. Honorees must also be of high moral character and remain in good standing at their institution.
