- The Fighting Knights added three more runs before the inning came to a close but then scratched across two more a frame later.
- Ryan Donovan opened the home fifth with a standup triple, and Turner followed with an RBI groundout.
- The Tigers managed a run in each of the next three frames, but the Blue and White erupted for five in the eighth to take a 12-3 lead.
- Miguel Ceballos started the eighth with the first home run of his Lynn career, and four batters later, Curtis gave the Fighting Knights their second longball of the inning.
- Stillman tallied three runs in the ninth, but the comeback effort was cut short when pinch hitter Kevin Usselman grounded out to second to end the ballgame.
