Ave Maria, Fla. – The sixth-ranked Lynn University men's tennis team produced another solid performance in the second match of the season Saturday afternoon, dropping Ave Maria on the road, 9-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn jumped out to a 3-0 lead over the Gyrenes in doubles play.
- Daniel Riggs and Pavel Mojha teamed up at No. 1 doubles while Mehdi Laalej and Ethan Itzkovitz represented Lynn at No. 2. Both squads posted 8-2 wins.
- Danyang Xu and Jose Porfirio Ordonez blanked the Gyrenes 8-0 in the third doubles match.
- All six singles matches went to the Fighting Knights in straight sets.
- Laalej had to battle in the first set at the third flight, taking the opener in a 7-3 tiebreaker before winning set two, 6-0.
- Riggs and Mojha were in control in the top two singles matches, Itzkovitz and Porfirio Ordonez were victorious at No. 4 and 5, with Paulo Santos Costa triumphing in the six-spot.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
