HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lynn starter Donovan Armas struggled in the first inning, surrendering eight runs on five hits and three walks before turning things over to the bullpen.
- With the bases loaded and nobody out, the Seahawks were able to plate two runners after a walk and a hit batter, and the Fighting Knights quickly made another call to the bullpen.
- Robert Guarnieri gave the Blue and White four innings on the hill, allowing two runs along the way.
- Jonathan Eisdorfer and Tyler Constable teamed up for the final five frames of relief, giving up two runs apiece.
- The Lynn bats kept the team in the game for most of the night, scoring in six different innings.
- A four-run first and a five-run fourth provided the offensive sparks, but the Fighting Knights were unable to overcome the first inning damage.
