BOCA RATON, Fla. – Returning to Sunshine State Conference play for the first time in nearly a month on Friday afternoon, the ninth-ranked Lynn University men's tennis team posted a 9-0 win over Eckerd College to nab its third victory in the past four days.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Danyang Xu and Jose Porfirio Ordonez became the first Lynn doubles squad this season to hit double-digit victories, winning at the third flight, 8-2.
- Jean-Baptiste Mateo and Mehdi Laalej paired up for this first time this season and took the top doubles match, 8-5.
- Seniors Daniel Riggs and Pavel Mojha gave Lynn a 3-0 lead in the match with an 8-4 triumph at No. 2 doubles.
- Lynn secured the top five singles matches in straight sets, with none of the Fighting Knights giving up more than three games.
- Mojha and Mateo each posted 6-2, 6-0 wins at the second and fifth flights, respectively, while Laalej had a similar tally in his win at No. 3.
- Riggs dropped Victor Appleqvist at the top spot, 6-0, 6-3 while Ethan Itzkovitz capped off the sweep late with a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 4.
- The No. 6 singles match was reduced to an eight-game pro-set with Lynn's Cameron Schoolcraft prevailing, 8-5.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- The Fighting Knights have won nine of their last 10 matches.
- Schoolcraft made his first career appearance in the Blue & White.
