- RBI hits from Corey Gibson and Austin Sprinkle put the home nine on top 2-0 in the second stanza.
- Ryan Donovan doubled in a run a frame later, expanding the Lynn lead to 3-0.

- With Donovan Christman at the plate in the home fifth, Gibson scampered home on a passed ball, putting Lynn in front 7-2.
- John Silviano crushed a breaking ball over the right field wall to open the sixth, and the Fighting Knights used it as a catalyst for their biggest inning of the day.

- John Borup added an RBI double before the sixth inning closed to give the Fighting Knights an 11-2 advantage.
- The Lions scratched across a run in the top of the seventh, but Silviano and Ceballos each homered again in the bottom half to give Lynn a ten-run mercy-rule victory.
