Box Score BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Lynn University women's basketball team rattled off 12 points in a row between the end of the third quarter and start of the fourth quarter to hold a late lead, but Nova Southeastern stormed back with an eight-point run of its own to retake the lead with less than two minutes to play. The Sharks held off the Fighting Knights for a 70-66 win in the Sunshine State Conference opener on Wednesday night at the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center.

STATS OF THE GAME:
- Juju Uloma racked up 23 points and six rebounds off the bench for Lynn, leading all scorers and grabbing the second-most rebounds on the team. Uloma was efficient in her scoring, shooting 10-for-15 from the floor.
- Jaylen Snipes also reached double digits in scoring, netting 10 points off the bench with five assists.
- Sydney Fields put forth her best effort of the young season, tallying eight points and seven rebounds for Lynn in addition to two steals and two blocks.
- Lynn shot 35.2 percent from the floor, while Nova Southeastern made shots at a 48.3 percent clip.
- Kayla Wright poured in 20 points for the Sharks but was held to just one rebound by Lynn.
- Cheray Saunders potted 15 points off the bench for Nova Southeastern, grabbing five rebounds in the process to help her team to victory.
- The Fighting Knights were 14-of-16 (87.5 percent) from the free throw line, while NSU converted on 10 of 15 free throw attempts.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- NSU has now won 10 consecutive head-to-head matchups between the two teams dating back to 2012.
