Box Score Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – In a highly-anticipated local men's basketball matchup Wednesday night between the top-two teams in the league, it came down to the final shot with fifth-ranked Nova Southeastern University stealing an 87-85 Sunshine State Conference victory from 17th-ranked Lynn University. Jamal Palmer and Darius Moore each poured in 28 points to lead the Fighting Knights scoring attack.

- Moore was absolutely lights out from beyond the arc, shooting an incredible 8-of-9 from long range for 28 points off the bench. He finished 10-of-13 from the field while adding two assists and a block.
- Palmer pieced together two solid halves of work, tallying 28 points on 11-of-16 shooting, including a 4-of-7 performance for three-point territory. The senior rounded out a solid game with five boards, three assists and a game-high two blocks.
- Brandon Bornelus knocked down a pair of triples in his 14-point outing, adding four rebounds and three helpers.
- Starting bigs Daniel Cooper (8) and Rasheed Worrell (7) led the team's rebounding effort. Worrell chipped in six points and three assists offensively.

- The Sharks and Fighting Knights traded leads a total of 26 times throughout the contest, with four of those changes coming in the final 4:04.
- With the win, NSU fends off Lynn to keep the top spot in the SSC standings.
- Moore had 20 points by halftime, going 6-for-7 from 3-point land.
- Lynn shot 14-of-23 (60.9%) from beyond the arc as a team, marking the team's most efficient three-point shooting night since 2014.
- The teams combined to shoot 26-of-44 (59.1%) from downtown.
